Snoop Dogg Is Helping To Lower Suicide Rates Among Veterans
Snoop Dogg continues to headline festivals like the GOAT he is.
The Long Beach legend is slated to headline a new festival called Salute the Troops in Riverside, honoring active military and veterans.
The music and comedy festival will take place on March 22 and 23 at March Field Air Museum, adjacent to March Air Reserve Base.
This will be Salute the Troops’ inaugural event by Semper Fi Productions, who pride themselves as a “certified, disabled veteran-owned small business.”
The Press-Enterprise reports co-founders John Wertz and Nate Parienti are motivated by the high rate of suicides amongst Iraq War veterans.
Other artists on the bill include Dashboard Confessional, Capital Cities, Cheat Codes, and Rob Riggle on the comedy side.
